Injury Treatment is thrilled to be helping more Australians with its new service, Optimise Allied Health, which assists patients recovering from illness and injury.

Optimise delivers short-term interventions with a focus on improving function, reducing pain and discomfort and transitioning individuals back into activities they enjoy.

Our clinicians provide a unique combination of physiotherapy, psychology, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology and dietetics to suit individual patient requirements.

Optimise currently specialises in Oncology and Aged Care. In the coming months we will expand our service to an Outsourced Allied Health offering to assist in the Hospital in the Home and Disability sectors.

Since 2005, Injury Treatment has been assisting employers and insurers with allied health consulting services. Optimise is our first service where we directly assist individuals either in their home or in medical centres.

Our team prides itself on delivering best practice, evidence based interventions which are founded on quality assurance benchmarks and comprehensive training and development.

Optimise recently partnered with Icon Cancer Care, Australia’s largest provider of private oncology services. We work closely with patients and their medical team to develop an individual treatment plan which may include any of our allied health services before, during or after cancer treatment.

We are also offering allied health clinical services to other specialists under a direct referral basis. Interventions can be carried out at the Icon centres or if the patient feels more comfortable, in their own home and home support services are available after being discharged from Icon care.

Optimise has recently won two tenders in the Aged Care sector. The first will see the Optimise team roll out multidisciplinary falls prevention programs to aged clients living in the community in Western Sydney.

The second will involve piloting an innovative pain management program on the North Coast of NSW. This program has been developed with the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation and the North Coast Primary Health Network.
