Survive and Thrive - The Advantages of Being a Resilient Organisation

Injury Treatment’s popular breakfast seminar series will be running throughout October and November across six locations; Wollongong, Parramatta, Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle and Brisbane.

The first of the seminars “Survive and Thrive” will be presented by Injury Treatment’s Psychological Services Manager; Jason Vella in Wollongong on Tuesday 11th October and will deal with resilience in the workplace.

Every organisation has their own version of the ‘perfect storm’ – a combination of circumstances, events and situations that has the potential to bring that organisation to its knees. What is it that makes some organisations able to not only survive, but more importantly to thrive in the face of adversity?

“Survive and Thrive” will explore the qualities that individuals, teams and leaders must possess to create a resilient organisation and how this resilience can be continuously enhanced at all levels to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. A number of case studies will be discussed which will highlight the benefits of resilient organisations and how they have been able to foresee and weather the storm during a crisis.
